Love this place and enjoy walks here a lot. It is peaceful and there's plenty wildlife around. I've seen deer, moorhens, ducks, dippers, herons, a badger!, foxes, darbentons bats, owls, woodpeckers, frogs and many more. It has an interesting history being old Mill ponds but now are a haven for wildlife.It leads on to the old railway walk to Roslin and Dalkeith which is a beautiful walk.
Nice and peaceful but could do with a wee clean.
